PASTOR BRAD FONTAINE

Executive Pastor

Pastor Brad was born into a ministry family and knew he was called to full-time ministry since he was a kid. When he was 11 years old, he began singing in his church, and music has been a part of his life ever since. Pastor Brad first began leading worship as a student at Oral Roberts University in 2002. He served as the Worship Director at Oral Roberts University and Oral Roberts Ministries for the next few years. In 2007, something began to shift in his heart, and he knew that God was calling him off the road to begin serving the local church. Since this transition, Pastor Brad has dedicated his life to serving God’s people by leading multiple church executive teams. He now enjoys helping build God’s church on the foundation of The Word of God and seeing people launched into their Kingdom purpose. Pastor Brad is married to Nicole, his best friend, and they have two sons, Roman and Kingston. He loves family time, hunting, fishing, and worshipping Jesus.

What are elders?

These are the men and women of our church who love, lead, and disciple the body.

Responsibilities:

Take Care of the needs of the body:

Acts 6:1-7 NLT, “But as the believers rapidly multiplied, there were rumblings of discontent. The Greek-speaking believers complained about the Hebrew-speaking believers, saying that their widows were being discriminated against in the daily distribution of food. So the Twelve called a meeting of all the believers. They said, “We apostles should spend our time teaching the word of God, not running a food program. And so, brothers, select seven men who are well respected and are full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will give them this responsibility. Then we apostles can spend our time in prayer and teaching the word.” Everyone liked this idea, and they chose the following: Stephen (a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit), Philip, Procorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas of Antioch (an earlier convert to the Jewish faith). These seven were presented to the apostles, who prayed for them as they laid their hands on them. So, God’s message continued to spread. The number of believers greatly increased in Jerusalem, and many of the Jewish priests were converted, too.”

Requirements for an Elder:

Titus 1:5-9 NLT, “I left you on the island of Crete so you could complete our work there and appoint elders in each town as I instructed you. An elder must live a blameless life. He must be faithful to his wife, and his children must be believers who don’t have a reputation for being wild or rebellious. A church leader is a manager of God’s household, so he must live a blameless life. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered; he must not be a heavy drinker, violent, or dishonest with money. Rather, he must enjoy having guests in his home, and he must love what is good. He must live wisely and be just. He must live a devout and disciplined life. He must have a strong belief in the trustworthy message he was taught; then he will be able to encourage others with wholesome teaching and show those who oppose it where they are wrong.”
